Attention Rising High School Seniors for 2024:
The National Catholic Committee on Scouting has announced scholarships for 2024. Applicants need only to submit one application to be considered for all awards:
Emmett J. Doerr Memorial Distinguished Scout Scholarship
The National Catholic Committee on Scouting® has established the Emmett J. Doerr Memorial Distinguished Scout Scholarship to be awarded to seven outstanding Catholic high school seniors who are Scouts in a BSA program and continuing their education in college. 1st place $5,000, 2nd place $4,000, 3rd place $3,000, plus four additional $2,000 scholarships.
Bill and Kay Davies Scholarship
One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded in 2024
Frank Parater Scholarship
One scholarship of $3,000 will be awarded in 2024
Tony & Patrice Steenkolk Family Scholarship
One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded in 2024
Eligibility:
Practicing Catholic scouts that are full-time High School Senior can apply to these scholarships. The requirements are listed in the Eligibility Requirements section on the NCCS scholarship page. Applications are due to the NCCS office by March 1 of each year.
