Attention Rising High School Seniors for 2026:
The National Catholic Committee on Scouting has announced scholarships for 2026. Applicants need only to submit one application to be considered for all awards.
College Scholarships
The National Catholic Committee on Scouting® awards fourteen college scholarships outstanding Catholic high school seniors who are Scouts in a Scouting America program and continuing their education in college.
Emmett J. Doerr Memorial Scout Scholarship
1st place $5,000, 2nd place $4,000, 3rd place $3,000, plus four additional $2,000 scholarships.
Bill and Kay Davies Scholarship
One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded in 2026
Frank Parater Scholarship
One scholarship of $4,000 will be awarded in 2026
Tony & Patrice Steenkolk Family Scholarship
Two scholarships of $2,000 will be awarded in 2026
Bishop Gerald “Padre” Gettelfinger Scholarship
One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded in 2026
Brian &Kristine Girskis Family Scholarship
One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded in 2026
Savage Family Scholarship
One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded in 2026
St Katharine Drexel Continuing Education Scholarship
One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded in 2026
Eligibility:
Practicing Catholic scouts that are full-time High School Senior can apply to these scholarships. The requirements are listed in the Eligibility Requirements section on the NCCS scholarship page. Applications are due to the NCCS office by March 1 of each year.
